Abundio Martin Mendoza

Abundio Martin Mendoza passed away on June 14, 2023 surrounded by his immediate family.

Abundio was born in Michoacan, Mexico, August 27, 1970. 

Abundio was part of the Watsonville community for 46 years. He graduated from Watsonville High School in 1989 with a scholarship to attend San Jose State University where he had intended to study Engineering. 

Abundio dedicated himself to providing for his family but in his free time he liked to play basketball especially with his son Isaiah Mendoza, who he has now joined in heaven.

Abundio was a dedicated parent and husband. He devoted himself to lead, protect and provide for his family at all costs. 

Abundio will be leaving a great big hole in the hearts of people who knew him. He always made sure to treat people kindly and was more than happy to help whenever necessary. His compassion for the greater was unmatched. 

Abundio is survived by his wife, Ana Mendoza, his two daughters Chantelle Mendoza and Dominique Mendoza, his is siblings Leticia Mendoza, Elidoro Mendoza, Georgina Mendoza Davalos, and Hilda Mendoza Estrada. As well as his mother Maria Luisa Mendoza.
