Alfredo Madrigal, beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away on March 5, 2026. He will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, generosity, and deep pride and love for his family, friends, culture, and heritage.
Alfredo loved music and enjoyed singing traditional songs with family and friends. Mariachi music held a special place in his heart, and his favorite song, “El Rey,” was one he proudly sang. He was known as a generous and direct man who freely shared his gifts of knowledge, always willing to help others and teach what he knew. He was a successful entrepreneur for over 30 years. His family was and will always be proud of who he was, full of love, never forgetting who he helped and continue his legacy.
Alfredo also had a deep love for the ocean. He treasured time spent on his boat and fishing, where he found peace and happiness.
He is survived by his parents, Alfredo and Isabel Madrigal, three brothers, four sisters, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Viewing and Rosary will be March 22, 2026, 6:00 pm at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main Street, Watsonville, CA. Funeral Mass: March 23, 2026: Holy Eucharist Catholic Community Church, 11:00 am 527 Corralitos Road, Watsonville, CA. Burial will follow, 11:00 am at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park, 127 Hecker Pass Road, Watsonville, CA.
Alfredo Madrigal, amado hijo, hermano, tío, primo y amigo, falleció el 5 de marzo de 2026. Será recordado por su espíritu alegre, su generosidad y el gran orgullo que sentía por su familia, su cultura y sus raíces.
A Alfredo le gustaba mucho la música y disfrutaba cantar canciones tradicionales con su familia y amigos. La música de mariachi ocupaba un lugar muy especial en su corazón, y su canción favorita, “El Rey,” era una que siempre cantaba con orgullo. Era un hombre generoso y directo que siempre compartía sus conocimientos con los demás. Siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar y a enseñar lo que sabía. Fue un empresario exitoso por más de 30 años. Su familia siempre se sintió orgullosa de él y del hombre que fue, lleno de amor y siempre dispuesto a ayudar a otros.
Alfredo también tenía un gran amor por el océano. Disfrutaba mucho pasar tiempo en su barco y pescando, donde encontraba tranquilidad y felicidad.
Le sobreviven sus padres, Alfredo e Isabel Madrigal, tres hermanos, cuatro hermanas, y muchos sobrinos, sobrinas, tías, tíos y primos.
El Velorio y Rosario se llevará a cabo el 22 de marzo de 2026 a las 6:00 p.m. en Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main Street, Watsonville, CA.
La Misa de Funeral será el 23 de marzo de 2026 a las 11:00 a.m. en Holy Eucharist Catholic Community Church, 527 Corralitos Road, Watsonville, CA.
El entierro se realizará después en Pajaro Valley Memorial Park, 127 Hecker Pass Road, Watsonville, CA.
