Amelia Martinez

On Monday, February 16, 2015 Amelia Martinez peacefully passed away surrounded by her family at her residence in Watsonville. She was 93.
Amelia was born on April 5, 1921 in Durango, Mexico to her proud parents Manuel and Francisca Martinez.
She loved many things in life such as cooking, reading and taking trips to different casinos in Reno. Amelia loved preparing holiday meals for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her siblings; Manuel Martinez Jr., Mary Martinez, Carmen Narvaez, Daniel Martinez and Ralph Martinez.
Amelia is survived by her son, Frank Martinez of Watsonville and sister, Teresa Martinez of Yuma Arizona.
Visitation services are held on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7pm at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Saint Patricks' Church with burial to follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park, 127 Hecker Pass Rd.
