Anita "Ann" Pizano Munoz

Anita (Ann) Pizano Munoz, of Watsonville died on Oct. 18 at the age of 92.

Ms. Munoz was born on March 5, 1930. She had been a resident of Watsonville for 72 years. She was an avid reader, gardening enthusiast and worked on many DIY projects. 

She traveled extensively both internationally and within the United States.

Ms. Munoz is preceded by her husband Rudolph (Rudy) M. Munoz and her parents Jesus (Jesse) Pizano and Julia Moncada and her three siblings Virginia Medina, Ernestine Rodriguez, and Lucy Carlon.

She is survived by her children Rudolph (Rudy) Munoz Jr, Valen (Jess) Sida, Diane Munoz, and Susan (Jacques) Buchs of Switzerland ,as well as siblings Ray Moncada, Robert Moncada and Angie Moncada.

She has five grandchildren, one great grandchild, and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Nov. 3 from 5-9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be held on Friday Nov. 4 at 10am at Valley Catholic Church with burial to follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park Cemetery
