Anita Contreras

On January 9, 2020, Anita Contreras peacefully passed away surrounded by love.

Anita, born on September 29, 1938, was a native resident of Watsonville, California.  She was a devoted Catholic, devoted mother, and loved to cook.  Anita loved spending time with her family; all of who will miss her greatly.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents Juan Contreras and Maria de Jesus; as well as by her brother Margarito, and her sister Consuelo.

She is survived by her children Teresa, Maricela, Cindy, Miguel, and Nolberto; and her fourteen grandchildren.  Anita is also survived her sisters Esperanza, Juanita, and Carlota; and her brother, Ignacio.

Visitation services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 5:00PM to 9:00 PM, with a rosary to be held at 7:00PM, at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St., Watsonville.
