Antonio Valdez Rodriguez

Antonio Valdez Rodriguez passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, at the age of 80.

Antonio was born on June 13, 1945, to his parents Francisca Rodriguez and Apolonio Valdez in Jalisco, Mexico. He married the love of his life, Julia Andrade De Valdez and was a resident of Gilroy, California. He was a devoted Nursery man at Pajarosa for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Julia Andrade De Valdez; his children Juan Valdez Andrade, Jose Antonio Valdez Andrade, Olga Valdez Andrade and Mary Valdez Andrade. His siblings Bernardo Valdez Rodriguez, Guadalupe Valdez Rodriguez, and will be joining two siblings now passed; Jose Valdez Rodriguez and Martina Valdez Rodriguez. In addition, he is survived by his 6 grandchildren; Wendy Valdez Rodriguez, Esmeralda Iñiguez Valdez, Emmanuel Iñiguez Valdez, Rogelio Valdez Perez, Ruby Valdez Perez, and Evelyn Iñiguez Valdez.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 5-9 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Assumption Church at 10 AM with burial to follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.
