Arlene Ann Valdez

On Friday March 15, 2024 our Father GOD opened his arms to our angel Arlene Ann Valdez Aka “Lenybird”, and she finally made it home. She peacefully drifted into the slumber of the presence of our LORD. Surrounded by her family, God took her pain away.

Born September 7,1972 to Teresa Vasquez and Rudolph Valdez in the heart of Watsonville, CA. Arlene was a Renaissance high School graduate and attended Cabrillo college. She loved listening to oldies, sports, and gatherings with family & friends. She was known for her one-of-a-kind personality & spirit that was infectious to all. She had a heart of gold and a loving embracing demeanor.

She leaves behind her children: Isaac Itamura-Valdez & Tianna Rodriguez. Siblings: Melissa Godinez & Rudolph Valdez. Mother: Teresa Vasquez. In-laws: Victor Godinez, Nichoel Valdez, & Cassandra Itamura, her dog Lucy, and many other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her Father Rudolph Valdez and grandparents.

A viewing will be held at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel in Watsonville, Tuesday April 9, 2024, from 5-9pm. Rosary commences at 7pm. She will be laid to rest by her father’s side at Moss Landing Cemetery on April 12th @ 10:30 am.
