Arthur John MacNeel

Arthur John MacNeel passed away peacefully at home Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Arthur was born October 11, 1954 in Laramie, Wyoming to his parents Neale and Beverly MacNeel. He spent time working in organic farming before becoming a Registered Nurse in 1986. He worked at Dominican Hospital in Soquel for 34 years before retiring in 2020. He was a kind soul who loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time at his family cabin in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Arthur is preceded in death by his parents Neale and Beverly. He is survived by his children Maya DeMontaigu-MacNeel and Orion DeMontaigu-MacNeel, his only grandchild Dominic De La Cruz, and his siblings Adela Klima and Edward MacNeel.

His request to be cremated was honored by his family with the help of Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. A private Celebration of Life will be held in December 2025.
