Barbara Rocha, age 87, of Watsonville, California passed away on Friday, March 25th.
She was a graduate of Watsonville high school in 1953 and also married her lifelong husband that same year. She began her married life and family on a dairy here in Watsonville. Barbara had various jobs in the community. She finished her career as the supervisor of transportation of the Pajaro Valley Unified School District.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed more than anything, cooking for her family, tending to her garden, her animals, socializing on bowling trips with her husband, keeping her hair and her nails up to par, going on shopping outings and being in stores, and learning how to use Facebook. She always cared about everyone around her instead of worrying about herself. She had the most amazing love for her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Rocha of 69 years. Her five children: Patty Rocha, Larry Jr Rocha, Julie Oliver, Jeff Rocha, and Michael Rocha. She is also survived by her siblings; Bill Selden and Susie Tifft, her grandchildren: Mariah Rocha, Sarina Oliver, Maxwell Rocha, Mikey Rocha, Danielle Rocha, Justin Marshall, Corey stone, Jordan Rocha, Shae Rocha, Jeremy Rocha, Chantel Rocha, Joe, Jimmy Stone, Monique Ansimov and Larry Rocha III, her 20 great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park at 11:00am.
