On December 11, Bernice Mowery Cruz passed away in Santa Cruz. She was 75.
Bernice was born on June 12, 1943 to her parents Mildred and Gustave H. Spranger. She was a free-spirited individual that lived life on her own terms. She graduated from Watsonville High School in 1961 and after attended Cabrillo College. She was a gracious lady that enjoyed helping others. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a resident of Watsonville.
She is survived by her sons Dwayne Mowery and Wayne Mowery. She is preceded in death by her parents Mildred and Gustave H. Spranger; and her brother Lyndell Dwight Spranger.
