Bonnie Rice

June 23, 1945 — May 2, 2014

Bonnie Rice, 68, a long time resident of Watsonville, went to heaven Friday, May 2, 2014. She was born June 23, 1945 and grew up in Oakland. Bonnie was a devoted elementary school teacher and taught for the Pajaro Valley Unified School District.

Bonnie was a beloved member in Twin Lakes Church and was very active in her community. She was a member of the Corralitos Women's Club, volunteered at the Corralitos library, and was part of the knitting group Knit Wits and Bible Study Fellowship. She loved to swim and read. She was an avid traveler and traveled the world. She was able to fulfill her wish to visit all seven continents.

Bonnie died at home surrounded by her family and close friends. She is survived by her children: Stephanie Larsen, Roddy Larsen (Stephanie) and Andrew Larsen (Jennifer), eight grand children and sister Patty Jarratt.

The Celebration of Bonnie's life will be held May 15, at 1:00 P.M at Twin Lakes Church, Aptos with a reception afterward. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you make a donation to "2020 Vision" at Twin Lakes Church.
