Brenda Cook

Brenda Darlene Cook was born on September 24, 1950 in Watsonville, CA and passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2013, at 63 years old. She resided in Sonora, CA for the past 29 years. She was preceded in death by her mother Lois Miller, father Wayne Powell, and brother Bruce Powell. She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She leaves behind her husband of 41 years, Irving B. Cook, daughter Teffeney (Cook) Gibney, sons Craig Cook, and David Cook, brother Brad Powell, grand children Brittany Huff, Justin Edgmon, Kaitlyn Edgmon, Ben Cook, Kaz Gibney, and great grand baby Chloe Huff. Also survived are mother in law Maggie Cook, son in law Ty Gibney, daughter in law Lisa Cook, and sister in law Pat Powell.
She was truly loved and will be missed dearly by all. As a very loving and caring woman, everyone who came in contact with her knew she cared and was able to make an immediate personal connection. She was beautiful in every way with many cute sayings. She had such a deep love for the Lord and is now in his loving arms. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Friends are invited to a viewing and visitation on Friday, December 20, 2013 commencing at 12:00 noon, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm at the Carroll Family Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main Street, Watsonville, CA 95076. Thence to the Carroll Family Pajaro Valley Memorial Park, 127 Hecker Pass Road, Watsonville, CA for graveside services and interment
