Bruce Diamond

December 24, 1952 — May 6, 2021

Bruce Diamond, a Watsonville native, peacefully passed away on May 6, 2021. He was 68.

Bruce graduated from Watsonville High School in 1970 and received a bachelor’s degree from Cal State University, Chico. Bruce was a substitute teacher for the Pajaro Valley and Salinas School Districts.

He was a loyal friend to many, witty with a wicked sense of humor, and selfless beyond reproach. At his core, Bruce was sensitive, strong, truthful, and supportive. He was passionate about our Watsonville youth and spent countless hours with the Watsonville High sports program. He enjoyed BBQing for the snack shack and encouraging sports in our community.

He is survived by his two sisters, Susan Cooper and Barbara Brooks, his nieces, Casey Pozzi, Dyan Diamond, and Jennifer Brooks and nephews, Chris Cooper, Jon Diamond, and Robbie Brooks.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Helen Diamond, and his brother Marc Diamond.

We will be having a “Celebration of Life” on May 22, 2021 from 2-5pm at 808 Delta Way, Watsonville, CA 95076. Please stop by, reminisce, and share your stories.
