Carol Christensen

On Wednesday, March 11, 2015, Carol Christensen peacefully passed away in Watsonville, CA. She was 75.

Carol was born in San Rafael, California on July 9, 1940 to Clara and Tony Tartala. . When she was about 9 years old, Carol's family decided to move to Watsonville, CA where she resided for many years.

Carol enjoyed many things, such as working as an office manager for Dr. Miguel Vasquez and Dr. Ann Carrol. She loved to travel with her husband to Hawaii and the Virgin Islands. Carol also had a true passion for the piano and would play show tunes for her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ken Christensen and proud parents; Tony and Clara Tartala.
Carol is survived by her two sons; Kenny (Lisa) Christensen and Jeffrey (Lori) Christensen. She was also lovingly remembered by her siblings; Barbara (Bill) Schaffer, Doug (Jonne) Tartala and by, her 4 grandchildren, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be celebrated on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Corralitos Community Church, 26 Browns Valley Road, Corralitos at 11:00 AM with food and refreshments to follow in the Fellowship Hall.
