Charles Molnar

Charles "Chuck" B. Molnar passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 after battling
an illness. He was 68. Born in Morristown, NJ on February 25, 1945 to Bertram Molnar and Marian Moore, Chuck spent his early years living in parts of New Jersey as well as Syracuse, NY and Boca Raton. Fl. A resident of Santa Cruz County for the past three decades, Chuck grew to love the California life and its people. Many may know Chuck from his years of selling insurance through Molnar Insurance Agency. He was a gregarious guy who was a friend to anyone who needed it, evident by the abundance of close friends and colleagues he leaves behind with his passing. He believed in living life to the fullest. Chuck was a fun-loving sportsman who enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, music, fast cars, poker games, good cigars and spending quality time with family and friends.

He is survived by his sister Gwen Hamel, daughters Tracy E. Edghill and Holly A. Berlin, his son Charles B. Carter and a granddaughter Taylor J. Edghill.

A memorial celebration is being planned for spring 2014 in Santa Cruz County. Details to be determined and shared at a later date.
