Christopher Paul Holmes

Christopher P. Holmes passed away unexpectedly at his home in Watsonville, Ca on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

He was born on November 26, 1963, in Colorado Springs, Co to his parents Dale and Mary Holmes. Chris graduated in 1982 from Widefield Highschool in his hometown, and would go on to work as an HVAC Technician for more than 20 years, a career he took great pride in. Later, he enjoyed driving for Courtesy Cab, where he met many people and formed lasting connections. In his free time, Chris loved gambling, barbecuing, fishing, and taking road trips. He found joy in simple adventures and the open road, and he cherished the moments spent doing the things he loved.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Dale Holmes, his mother, Mary Holmes, his sister Debbie and his niece Melanie. He leaves behind his longtime partner of 36 years, Tina Tital, stepsons Joaquin, Terrance, and Ignacio, and his daughter-in-law Samantha McKenzie. He is also survived by his brother Dale Jr. Holmes, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and his 12 beloved grandchildren. Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A viewing will be held for Chris on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel from 3 PM - 7 PM.
