Christopher Street Padilla

April 11, 1994 — March 14, 2024

Watsonville

Christopher Street Padilla, a cherished fiancé, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 29. He will be deeply missed by his loving fiancé Monica, his children London and Logan, his parents Leo, Noemi, Brian, and Melinda, and his grandparents Mark, Dyan, Randy, and Irma. He will also be deeply missed by his siblings Anthony, Daivian, Derek, Isabel, Lea, Anecia, Donna, Kaylee, Lauren and all who knew him.

Chris was born on April 11, 1994. He grew up in Watsonville, CA, and graduated from Pajaro Valley High School and Cabrillo College. While schooling in Watsonville, he was a rockstar quarterback for the Grizzlies and a tight end for the Seahawks. His hard work and dedication to football earned him a scholarship to Campbellsville University, home of the Tigers, where he played tight end and studied business.

In his family's footsteps, Chris leaned into his dream of creating his business, CP Construction Custom Building and Remodeling Inc., in 2019. He dedicated himself to his work and made a lasting impact on his clients, community, and the construction industry. Merging his love for the business with his desire for family, he created a warm, family-run environment where he could work alongside his loved ones.

Beyond his dedication to his business, Chris’ true love was his family. In 2016, he met the two loves of his life, Monica and her daughter London. Chris’s love for London happened organically, and he became the best bonus dad. They were the best friends who created memories that would last a lifetime. Monica and Chris built a beautiful life together, raising their girls and spending time by the water. In 2022, Chris and Monica became engaged at one of their favorite places, South Lake Tahoe. A year later, in April 2023, they welcomed their youngest baby girl, Logan, whom Chris loved and adored deeply. He was the best girl dad - loving, supportive, and hands-on. Chris’s spirit was fueled by spending time creating memories with all his family, enjoying a home-cooked meal, and going on vacations. Chris would often be found four-wheeling, riding a dirt bike, taking his girls to the park, watching the sunset with Monica, helping his family and friends, or having the time of his life on the dancefloor. No matter the occasion, Chris brought so much life to every room with his jokes and infectious smile. He left everlasting footprints on our hearts and will be missed dearly by his three girls, family, friends, and community.
