Claudine Lopes

On December 12, 2017 Claudine passed from the Loving arms of her Family to the open arms of her
Savior. She was 82.

Claudine was born to Frank and Bettie Tibbitts on July 17th 1935 in Watsonville, Ca. She married Ronald H. Lopes on August 14th 1954. They were married for 63 years until her passing. Claudine loved fishing and camping with family and friends. She enjoyed gardening and pickling vegetables with her husband. Most importantly Claudine loved spending time with her family. Claudine's heart was full of love and she was the rock for the entire family. She always put her family's needs before her own and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband Ronald H. Lopes; sons, Ronnie D. Lopes and Timmy L. Lopes; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cindy Jo Hicks.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday December 20th at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel in Watsonville from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The committal service will take place on Thursday December 21st at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel at 11:00 AM with the burial to follow directly after at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park in Watsonville.
