Consuelo Higareda

Consuelo Higareda Renteria died on Monday, Sept. 4, 2017 in Watsonville, a day after celebrating her 90th birthday.
She was born on Sept. 3, 1927 to Ricardo and Micaela R. de Higareda.
Ms. Higareda Renteria is preceded in death by her siblings, Ascencion Higareda Vda. De Zamora, Cecilia Ramirez, Reyes Higareda, Manuel Higareda, Pedro Higareda and Maria de los Angeles Escamilla. She is survived by her brother, Marcos (Enedina) Higareda; and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A rosary will be recited on Monday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 12 from Ave Maria Memorial Chapel to Our Lady Help of Christians Church. A mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Valley Catholic Cemetery.
