Esther Flores Alvarado

Esther Flores Alvarado passed away on August 29, 2026, in Watsonville, California, at the age of 75.

She was born in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, on April 4, 1951, to her parents Consuelo Alvarado and Inez Flores Dias.

Esther is remembered as a hardworking and devoted mother to her 5 adopted kids. She had a career spanning 45 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant but didn’t let a busy schedule keep her from what she loved doing most- being with her family. Some of her favorite memories were made while enjoying her family home in Tequila, Jalisco, MX and cooking for her loved ones.

Esther is survived by her children, Arnulfo Zafra, Carolina Flores, Maria Lurdes Flores and Margarita Flores, as well as her siblings Jerardo Landeros, Lola Flores, and Paz Flores. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Tony Flores, Leo Flores, Joana Cazares, Ismael Cazares, Brian Cazares, Juana Campos and Karina Campos.

A Funeral Service will be held for Esther on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will follow the morning of Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 10 a.m.
