Eva Ortiz

On Sunday, March 26, 2017 Eva Ortiz passed away surrounded by her family in Santa Cruz, CA. She was 74.
Eva loved taking long walks with her husband and enjoyed going to Church on Saturdays. She was a woman of strong faith who was always ready to help others. Her favorite pastime was to be around her family, especially grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Elvira and Emiterio Martinez and her daughter, Angelita Ortiz. Eva is survived by her beloved husband, Tomas Ortiz and her children; Ofelia, Marcelina, Trino, and Petra. She is also survived by her siblings; Maria Lopez, Jose Martinez, Arnulfo Martinez, Maria Martinez, and her 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Eva was a very generous and kind women who opened her heart and her home to many children over the years and will be sorely missed.
Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 3-9 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. A service will be on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 10 AM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
