Francisco Ortiz

On February 5, 2023, Francisco Ortiz passed away at the age of 92 years. Francisco was born November 13, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois but raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. Francisco then moved to Watsonville, California in 1975.  Francisco survived by his wife Josefina Ortiz and his children; Francisco Ortiz, Juan Ortiz, Teresita Ortiz and Eduardo Ortiz, and his two grandchildren.

Francisco worked for the city of Watsonville for 14 years. He enjoyed watching Soccer and his favorite team is Chivas from Guadalajara, Mexico. Mr. Ortiz loved having barbecues and surrounding himself around his family and cherished his dogs very much.

Francisco is preceded in death by his son Jorge Ortiz.
