Gilberto Margarito Valadez

Gilberto Margarito Valadez passed away unexpectedly at his home on December 27, 2022. He was 57.

Gilbert was born on October 16, 1965, in Juarez, Chihuahua. He was raised in Watsonville, California, to his stepfather Eliberto de Leon and Maria Valadez de Leon.

Gilbert graduated from Watsonville High School in 1984. Soon after he was able to obtain an associate degree in Accounting. In his free time Gilbert enjoyed raising livestock, reading, fishing and loved carpentry. Gilbert also had a passion for philanthropy and enjoyed caring for others. He is survived by his children Anna, Irene, Gilberto Jr., Marissa, Vanessa, Gilliana, Ezekio Valadez and his 6 grandchildren. As well as his siblings, Arturo De Leon Valadez, and Alicia Cobos. He is preceded in death by his mother Maria De Leon Valadez.

Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 5-9PM with a Rosary at 7PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 1PM at Valley Catholic Church.
