Gonzalo Sanchez Zamora

Gonzalo Sanchez Zamora passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, at the age of 64.

Gonzalo was born on July 2, 1961, to his parents Gonzalo Zamora Anaya and Oliva Sanchez Franco in Michoacan, Mexico. His stepdad Eduardo Franco Lima raised him from the age of 8. He was a resident of Watsonville, California.

Gonzalo was dedicated to his business of 40 years, Zamora Upholstery, where he was a master of his craft. Gonzalo loved to BBQ and visit Pulgas. Gonzalo was known by many, and his presence will be missed greatly.

He is survived by his children Jasmine, Angela, Erica, Vanessa Zamora; his siblings Jose Luis, Maria del Carmen, Enrique Sanchez Zamora, Eduardo Franco Sanchez and his 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 5-9 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
