Horacio Aguirre

June 27, 1944 — June 16, 2014

Horacio Aguirre passed away on June 19th, 2014 at the age of 69. He was a resident of Aromas, CA for the past 40 years. He retired from C&V farms, where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 35 years.

He had a passion for raising farm animals, including chickens, roosters, and goats. He loved horseback riding, and in his younger years was an expert Bull Rider. In his later years he enjoyed spending time with his family, and especially loved being surrounded by his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Maria Aguirre. His children Jose Juan (Veronica) Aguirre, Martha (Carlos) Guzman, Victor (Norma) Aguirre, Junior Aguirre, his mother Ramona Aguirre Rea, 5 brothers, 7 sisters, 16 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his two children Louie and Monica Aguirre, his father Canuto Aguirre, and his two brothers Ranulfo and Reymundo Aguirre.
To a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather, you will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. We will always love you.

Visitation services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 5:00-9:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main Street, Watsonville. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Valley Catholic Church with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery, 2445 East Lake Avenue, Watsonville.
