Ismael Cano-Arteaga died after a three-year battle with cancer. He was 32.
Mr. Cano-Arteaga was born in Watsonville to Ramon and Veronica Cano on Aug. 11, 1983. He had a great personality with a strong sense of humor along with an infectious smile. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his favorite team, the San Francisco Giants play.
Mr. Cano is survived by his parents, Ramon and Veronica Cano; brothers, Javier and Cristobal; and one sister, Marisabel Cano.
Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, July 20 from 5-9 p.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 21 at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
