Janice Smith

Janice Smith, a long-time resident of Watsonville, peacefully passed away, on July 10, 2014. She was 76.

She was born in Los Angeles, California on November 4, 1937 to Doyle and Elma "Bonnie" Stapp.
Janice was a stay at home mother; she loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed doing crafts and making jewelry. Janice also loved cooking, and did not want anyone to leave her house hungry. She was very generous and kind. Her family and friends were always welcome to stay and have a home cooked meal at their house, which will be greatly missed.

Janice is survived by her husband, of 57 years, Norman Orville Smith and children; Norman "Ted", Lauren, Susan and Betsy. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother, sister, 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Corralitos Community Church, 26 Browns Valley Road with a Potluck reception to follow.
