Jennie Montoya

On April 30, 2017 Jennie A. Montoya peacefully passed away in Santa Cruz surrounded by her family. She was 90.
Jennie was a woman of many wonderful traits. She enjoyed taking walks to Pinto Lake Park, gardening and cooking authentic Mexican food. She was very family oriented. She was totally devoted to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jennie was a woman of strong faith. She will be greatly missed and always cherished in our hearts.
Jennie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Montoya and son, Alex Montoya.
She is survived by her siblings; Joe Perez, Elizabeth Valencia, Pearl Ybarra, Paul Perez, Lupe Perez, Mary Ellen Cisneros and Antonio De La Rosa, her daughter-in-law, her 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 12th at Valley Catholic Church at 10 AM.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Second Harvest Food Bank or Hospice of Santa Cruz County.
