On Sunday, September 18, 2016 Joaquin Mejia Villa "El Guerro Palmas" unexpectedly passed away in Watsonville. He was 65.
Joaquin was born on August 23, 1951 in MichoacA�n, Mexico.
Joaquin loved music and played the accordion in a local group named, Lluvia NorteA�a in Watsonville. He will be forever missed and his memory and music will be forever cherished.
Joaquin is survived by his children; Laura, Joaquin, Eloy, Jose Luis Mejia and his siblings; Jose Belen Mejia, Teresa Mejia, Laura Mejia, Carmela Mejia Villa, Maria Mejia Villa and Ofelia Mejia.
Visitation services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 5-9 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place in his hometown in MichoacA�n, Mexico.
