Jose Arriaga Ambriz

Jose Arriaga Ambriz passed away on November 1, 2025, in Watsonville, California at the age of 88 years old.

He was born on September 28, 1937, in Texas, but was a resident of Santa Cruz County for 60 years.

Jose enjoyed watching old Westerns on TV, attending the Elderday Program, and loved visiting with friends and relatives.

He is preceded in death by his late wife Reynalda Calderon Angeles Arriaga.

Jose is remembered by his children Richard Angeles, Sylvia Blair, Christina Gonzales, Victoria Sanchez, Maria Elisa Huerta, Jose Chacon, Diana Gallegos, and Angelica Espino. He was also blessed with 30 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

A viewing and Rosary will be held for Jose Arriaga Ambriz on November 18, 2025, from 5PM to 8PM. A Funeral Mass will be held the next day on November 19, 2025, at 10AM, followed by a Celebration of Life. His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Carroll family of Ave Maria Memorial Chapel.
