Juanita Lawrence

Juanita Lawrence passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, at the age of 93.

She was born on January 2, 1933, to her parents Glen and Leavie Sykes in Oklahoma. She graduated from Watsonville High in 1952. She married the love of her life James Robert Lawrence Sr. who she lovingly called “Bob” and was married to for 59 years. A resident of Watsonville, CA and employee of Bank of America for 25 years. Her favorite hobbies included bowling, crocheting and camping at Yosemite National Park and Lake Nacimiento. She was a member of the odd fellows and Rebekas.

Juanita was preceded in death by her loving husband “Bob”; her siblings Maurine Peterson and Eugene Sykes.

She is survived by her children Sandra Martin, Roger Lawrence, Rob Lawrence; her brother Terry Sykes; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A private burial will be held by the family.
