June Lacy

June M. Lacy, longtime resident of Royal Oaks, CA passed away on March 8, 2013, at the age of 68. June was born to Jack and Katherine Fleming on January 13, 1945. She was raised in El Cerrito and graduated from El Cerrito High in 1962. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of San Francisco. After graduation she worked in telecommunications for several years and ended her career as an accountant.. June's passion in life were her animals. The majority of time you would find her at the barn with her horses and border collies. She was happiest watching her stallion, Haida, working cattle at cutting events.

June is survived by her sister, Carol and Ken Sisk, of Santa Cruz, CA, her nephews Trevor and Aaron Sisk along with his wife, Jenny Jap Sisk, her cousin Jackie and Roger Fonken of Richmond, CA, her cousins Glenn Ormsby of Smithfield, VA, and Gwynne Ormsby of West Chester, PA and her Uncle Jim and Aunt Martha Trundle of Cherry Hill, NJ. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Cost a former practicing Attorney at Law in San Mateo County, CA. She is also survived by her extended 'Cost' family.
