Kelly Hurley

Kelly Lynn Hurley passed away unexpectedly in New York City on April 11, 2017. Kelly was born on September 26, 1985 to Susie M. Southwood and Robert E. Hurley, Jr. in Watsonville, CA. She was 31 years old.

Kelly was a fitness enthusiast, avid reader, a strong activist for social change and enjoyed engaging discussions. She also loved traveling, philanthropy, wine tasting and rooting for her Golden State Warriors. She was employed by Soul Cycle of NY and was a founder of the Movemeant Foundation, which helps women promote positive body image. She was also the best aunt in the world!

Kelly graduated from Monte Vista Christian High School in 2003 and California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2007.

Kelly is survived by her mother and step father, Susie and Dan Southwood, her father and step mother, Bob and Rose Hurley, her brother and sister in law, Greg and Shannon Hurley, nieces; Kristin, Audra and Grayce, nephews; Bryan Daniel, Richie, Nathan and Bradley, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and many beloved family and friends.

Services will be held on Monday, April 24 at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel in Watsonville. Visitation at 9am followed by a funeral service at 11am. Graveside services immediately following at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.
