Lina Larice

On Friday, April 3, 2026, Lina Larice passed away at the age of 95. Lina was born in Itay, raised in France and came to the US with her husband Novello in 1953. They settled in Watsonville before moving to San Carlos for 30 years, returning to Watsonville in 1994 to be closer to family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her kids and grandkids, who she adored.

Lina was a homemaker and talented seamstress. She enjoyed cooking, loved to dance, garden, and play bocce. Lina was a member of the Peninsula Social Club in San Mateo, and she and Novello participated in many bocce tournaments across the United States and internationally.

She is survived by her daughter Marie (Robert) Bertone. She is preceded in death by her husband Novello and her son Daniel Larice. Lina is survived by her sister, Maggie (Gerard) Canabou, her daughter-in-law Teri Larice, her grandkids, Anthony, Nick, Bryan, Cris, Ali and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lina will be missed and her memory cherished by her family and those who knew her well.

Private graveside service will be held on April 14, 2026 and handled by Ave Maria Memorial Chapel.
