Manuel Moreno

January 5, 1943 — February 12, 2015

On February 12, 2015 Manuel F. Moreno peacefully passed away surrounded by his family at Watsonville Community Hospital. He was 72.

Manuel was born on January 15, 1943 in Nogales, Sonora to his proud parents Manuel and Marcelina Reyes Moreno.

Manuel enjoyed many things in life such as welding and making BBQ pits. He loved listening to "The King," and taking late night adventures to the boiler room and green house. Manuel was famous for his green thumb abilities to crop beautiful roses.
Manuel's plaid snap up western attire, his famous cowboy boots, hats, Coors Light, strawberry ice cream and Jack n' Box tacos will be greatly missed and cherished by his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Francisca Moreno and children; Manny (Elvia), Tony (Tami), Frances (Joel) and little Manny Moreno. Manuel is also lovingly remembered by his 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation services will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St., Watsonville.
