Marcelo Ortega

On February 3, 2015 Marcelo Ortega suddenly passed away in Watsonville, CA. He was 62.

Marcelo was born on August 5, 1952 in Stockton California to his proud parents Marcelo M. and Dolores Estrada Ortega.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Marcelo had a strong desire for helping others and his family. Marcelo's life was devoted to his family and their happiness. He's hard work; smile and love will be missed by his family and friends.

Marcelo was an original "salt of the earth" Californian Father of Marcelo, Holly and Aaron Ortega. He is also lovingly remembered by his 6 grand boys and 7 grand girls.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main Street, Watsonville.
