Maria Benavidez

December 12, 1978 — October 14, 2018

On Sunday, October 14, 2018 Maria “Monique” Benavidez unexpectedly passed away in Monterey, CA. She was 39.

Monique was loved by so many friends near and far. She enjoyed long drives through the red woods, visiting different beaches and was well known for her “Rasta Music.” She will be forever missed and always cherished in our hearts.

Monique is survived by her father, Albert Benavidez; her siblings, Priscilla Benavidez and Michael Thompson; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation service will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 5-9 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10 AM at Saint Patricks Church with a final blessing ceremony to follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.
