Maria Parra de Hernandez

On Sunday, January 25, 2015, Maria del Rosario Parra de Hernandez peacefully passed away in Watsonville, CA. She was 96 years old.

Maria was a loving mother, grandmother and cherished time with her family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, arts & crafts, reading and cooking.

Maria has peacefully gone to be with her heavenly Father as well as reuniting with her beloved husband, Rafael Hernandez Gomez.
She is survived by her children; Concepcion, Beatriz, Martha, Christina, Angela and her sons; Ambrosio, Remberto, Rafael, Javier and 30 grandchildren, 41 great grandmother and 5 great-great grandmother.

Visitation services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main Street, Watsonville. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, with burial to follow in Jalisco, Mexico.
