Maria Vasquez Cortez

On Saturday, October 8, 2016 Maria Consuelo Vasquez peacefully passed away surrounded by her family at her home in Watsonville. She was 92.
Maria was born on February 4, 1924 in San Pedro Tesistan Jalisco, Mexico.
Maria was a woman of many wonderful traits. Her life was devoted to her family and their happiness. She loved to hand wash clothes and cook for her family. To a loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend you will be forever missed and always cherished.
Maria is survived by her children; Jose Luis (Rita) Flores, Maria Elena (Rey) Flores and Antonio (Maria) Gomez. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation services will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 5-9 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Valley Catholic Church at 10 AM with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
