Martin B. Lopez

On February 9, 2018 Martin B. Lopez peacefully passed away surrounded by his family in Watsonville. He was 48.
Martin was born on January 1, 1970 in Tijuana B.C. Mexico.
He was an avid soccer player for more than 30 years and was number 16 with Atletico Watsonville. Above all his life was devoted to his family and their happiness. He loved family gatherings and spending time with his children.
Martin is survived by his beloved wife, Amalia Contreras De Lopez and his children; Karina Lopez and Luis Felipe Lopez. He is also survived by his siblings; David, Gabriel, Laura, Silvia, Antonio, Gerardo, Ana and Charo and his parents; Josefina Bernardo and Felipe De Jesus Lopez.
Visitation services will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 5-9 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St., Watsonville. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Patricks Church, 721 Main St, Watsonville with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery, 2445 East Lake Ave., Watsonville.
