In Loving Memory of Martin Enrique Toscano Alvarez
March 21, 1957 – February 20, 2026
With deep love and gratitude for his life, we say goodbye to Martin Enrique Toscano Alvarez beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who was called to the Lord’s home, leaving an unforgettable mark on the hearts of all who had the blessing of knowing him.
Martin was born in Jiquilpan de Juáres, Michoacan, Mexico, the son of Enrique Toscano Martinez and Maria Jesús Alvarez Munguia.
From a very young age, he learned the value of hard work, beginning the trade of a butcher in his beloved hometown. This work not only allowed him to develop great skills, but also gave him the opportunity to travel and become familiar with different regions of Mexico and the life of the countryside.
Those who had the joy of sharing time with him know that one of his greatest ways of showing love was through food. During holidays, celebrations, and family gatherings, Martin lovingly prepared meals that brought everyone together around the table. With dedication and care, even the simplest dishes became something special filled with flavor, warmth, and memories that remain alive in our hearts today. His greatest legacy is the family he built with love.
He is survived by his beloved wife Angélica Arteaga and by his children Maribel, Enrique, Martin and Osvaldo Toscano who continue to honor the values of hard work, love and family unity that he always instilled in them.
He is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Erik C., Darlin T., Oliver C., Kaythlyn T., Arlett T., Martin T., Dimarco T., and Osvaldo T.
And his great grandchildren Kalani M. and Kelina M.
Today his absence is deeply felt but his life continues to live on in every memory, every lesson and in the love, he planted within his family. With faith we trust that God has welcomed him into His eternal Kingdom, where he now rests in peace.
