Nora Uribe

On December 7, 2018 Nora V. Uribe peacefully passed away surrounded by her family in Watsonville.

Nora was born in Sinton, Texas and came to California. She graduated from Watsonville High School in 1962. She was tiny, mighty and feisty. Nora enjoyed camping, going to casinos, and visiting with family. She visited with her sister Mary Ellen almost daily for years. Her grandkids were her enjoyment and she spoiled them. She and her husband hosted many family parties and were known for their News Years party in their neighborhood. She was also known for her flour tortillas and was always singing and dancing in the kitchen. She is now with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Toribio Uribe, her son, Anthony Uribe. Nora is also preceded in death by her parents; Alfonso and Maria Villanueva and her siblings; siblings; Minnie Ramirez, Ruben Villanueva Sr., Lydia Wilhite.

Nora is survived by her children; Lauro, Alfonso Aguirre, Michael Authony, Sandy Delgadillo, Toribio Uribe Jr., and her siblings; Mary Ellen ( Robert) Rodriguez, Ray ( Hilda) Villanueva and Alice (Lazaro) Sanchez and her 11 grandchildren.

Visitation services will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 5-9 PM with a Rosary at 7PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10 AM at Assumption Church with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
