Oscar Marquez

On Thursday, April 11, 2019 Oscar Ramirez Marquez passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his family in Watsonville.

Oscar enjoyed playing the bass and liked to share the word of God. He cherished family time and was an avid Raiders fan. He always enjoyed listening to oldies and he motivated people to overcome gang violence and drug abuse in the Victory Homes of Victory Outreach.

He will be forever missed and cherished within our hearts.

Oscar is survived by his parents; Martin Ramirez and Cleotilde Marquez and his siblings; Cesar and Nohemi Ramirez Marquez. He is also survived by his 1 niece and numerous other family members.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 5:00-9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel located at 609 Main St. in Watsonville. The burial will take place on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Valley Public Cemetery located at 2445 East Lake Ave. in Watsonville.
