Pablo Gallo

Pablo Gallo 91, of Watsonville has gone to be with his heavenly father on August 21, 2018.

He was born on March 5, 1927 to Gorgonio Gallo and Catalina Martinez in Yahualica De Gonzalez Gallo, Jalisco, Mexico.

He married Maria Dolores Rita Perez Gutierrez on May 13, 1958. They had seven children, Arturo, Celia Antonia, Juan De Dios, Pablo, Maria Dolores, Leticia and Palmira.

He was a migrant farmworker for over sixty years.

Pablo was an avid gardener and loved nature. He was a boxing fan and looked forward to watching the big fights and BBQ’s with friends and family. He loved working out on his bike and playing checkers with his grandchildren. Listening to, “rancheras”, and sharing stories of his childhood was his favorite pastime.

Pablo is survived by the love of his life, Maria Dolores, seven children, twenty-three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, August 27 at St. Patrick’s Church in Watsonville. We will begin with a rosary at 5:30pm and the holy mass immediately following at 6pm. The burial will be privately held the next day.
