Pablo L. Giron

March 22, 1942 — October 16, 2025

Watsonville

Pablo L. Giron, 83 years old, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025 surrounded by his children and grandchildren, at Watsonville Community Hospital in Watsonville, Ca.

Pablo was born on March 22, 1942, in Ayotlan Jalisco, Mexico. As an adolescent, Pablo worked very hard to help his family. He opened up his own barber shop in Mexico as a young adult. Pablo married Josefina Barajas (late wife) and had three children in Mexico before migrating to Watsonville, Ca in 1971 in search of the American Dream. In California Pablo and his wife had 5 more children, a total of 8. Pablo, his wife, and children all worked in agriculture in cultivating and dairy cattle. Pablo and his late wife accomplished their goal of becoming citizens in the U.S.

Pablo enjoyed hobbies such as: fishing, going for walks, playing his harmonica, shopping at the flea market, watching Mexican cowboy movies, meeting new people, snacking, and spending time with his family.

Pablo and his late wife worked passionately in their missionary work to teach others about Jesus' love through Bible Studies and their Music. He found joy in the ministry of music and along with his late wife, Josefina and children at the church they were members to for over 45 years, at the Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church in Watsonville, Ca. He was a talented singer that touched the hearts of many through their service.

Those who knew Pablo will remember him for his deep-rooted faith in Jesus and his passion to share God’s love to anyone who was willing to hear. His unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone, by always giving out a helping hand to anyone in need without expecting anything in return. His servitude to God has left a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. Pablo was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. Although Pablo’s presence may no longer grace our lives, his legacy will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do. We have the assurance that Pablo Giron is sleeping in Christ and awaiting the sound of the trumpet in Jesus' Second Coming for the resurrection to go home to Heaven.

Pablo L. Giron is survived by his 8 children: Martin Giron, Gregorio Giron, Josefina Garcia, Pablo Giron Jr., Teresa Martinez, Sara Giron, Francisco Giron, and Ester Garcia. He also leaves behind 25 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his late wife, Josefina Giron.
