Patsy Joann Ausmus

Patsy Joann Ausmus passed away on Monday January 23, 2023. She was 81. Patsy was born on May 13, 1941, in Watsonville California to her parents Walter Silvera and Sarah Marini. She was a native of Watsonville her entire life. Pat, as she liked to be called, loved to garden and always had her home full of flowers, her favorites were petunias and impatients. She loved to go camping at San Luis Reservoir and to Arroyo Seco during the summer’s. She was always so positive and persevered through any life challenge that came her way. She is survived by her husband Leon Ausmus, her twin sister Theresa Peterson, her children; Robert Ausmus and Cindy Stubblefield along with 5 grandchildren; Monica Amador, Erik Ausmus, Crystal Stubblefield, Jessica Ausmus and Brian Ausmus and 5 great-grandchildren; Thea, Mae, Leo, Wyatt and Morgan. Pat is preceded in death by her son James Wesly Ausmus.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 10th from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, following the burial service at 1:30PM held at Valley Public Cemetery next to Valley Catholic Church at 2445 East Lake Avenue.
