Rafaela Hernandez

On December 12, 2014 Rafaela Hernandez peacefully passed away at Stanford Hospital surrounded by her daughters, Margarita and Carmen and her grandchildren.
She was born on April 28, 1937 in Sinaloa, Mexico to her proud parents.
Rafaela's life was devoted to her family and their happiness. She cherished every moment with them and loved spending time with her grandchildren who meant the world to her. She also was an avid member in the Catholic Church.
Rafaela has peacefully gone to be with her heavenly Father as well as reuniting with her beloved husband Ismael Hernandez of 2012, daughter Emilia Zavala of 1983 and son Francisco Frank Diaz of 2014.
She is survived by her children Margarita (Humberto) Diaz and Carmen (Alfredo) Armenta. Rafaela is also lovingly remembered by her siblings Pedro Zavala, Rosa Quintero, Loretto Zavala and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church with the burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
