Raul Contreras

Raul Contreras passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in Watsonville on February 27. He was 61.

Anyone who knew Raul knows that he was a very reserved man. He had a happy spirit and was always willing to help anyone in need. Raul enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his grandchildren and riding his bicycle around town.

Raul leaves behind his wife, Silvia; his five children, Veronica, Raul, Mayra, Gerardo and Diana; and his six grandchildren, Jesse, Aleena, Raul, Eileen, Jocelyn and Gael.

The visitation service will be held on Sunday, March 10 from 5:00-9:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel located at 609 Main St. in Watsonville with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 11 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Church located at 100 Salinas Rd. in Pajaro with the burial to follow directly after at Valley Public Cemetery located at 2445 East Lake in Watsonville.
