Rebecca Mendez Cardenas

On February 1, 2023, Rebecca Mendez Cardenas passed away at the age of 88. Rebecca was born in Tamazula, Jalisco, Mexico to her parents Bacilia Cardenas and Calixto Mendez. She lived and resided in Watsonville most of her life. Rebecca loved gardening and surrounding herself around plants. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and being with her 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Rebecca is survived by her children; Bertha Torres, Becky Santana, and Manuel Puga. She is also survived by her sister Rosalva Mendez.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents Bacilia Cardenas, Calixto Mendez. Also preceded in death by; Rigoberto Mendez, Ramiro Mendez, and Raquel Mendez.

Visitation services will be held Sunday, February 12^th, 2023 from 5-9PM with a Rosary at 7PM at Ave Maria Memoria Chapel. Mass will be held on Monday, February 13^th, 2023 at 10AM at Valley Catholic Church.
