Rita Perezchica Ortiz

On Monday, January 4, 2016 Rita Perezchica Ortiz peacefully passed away surrounded by her family in Watsonville, CA. She was 88.
Rita was born on October 3, 1927 in Aguascalientes, Mexico to her proud parents; Sixto and Desidora Perezchica.
She was a devout Catholic who loved gardening and spending time with her loved ones. Rita's life was devoted to her family and their happiness. To our loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend you will be forever missed and always cherished.
Rita is survived by her beloved husband, Avelino Ortiz and children; Victor Ortiz, Joel Ortiz, Carlos Ortiz, Manuel Ortiz, Manuela Lopez and Dolores Garcia. She was preceded in death by her daughters Felicitas Cortez and Enedina Perez. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Jesus Perezchica and her 13 grandchildren.
Visitation services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 5-9 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at Valley Catholic Church at 10 AM with burial to follow at San Juan Bautista District Cemetery.
